Andrea Lee is a Los Angeles native who was born in the month of August in 1998. James taught her the art of golf from the time she was five years old. When she was 8 years old she started competing in tournaments, and within four years, was awarded 50 Junior championships. Lee took home the Mark H. McCormack medal in 2019, after finishing with the top ranking amateur. Lee scored four hole-in ones and one albatross while an amateur. Her top-10 finish was two times during her first year on the LPGA Tour. She was seventh at the AIG Women's Open 2020, which was held at Kingsbarns Golf Links.
